Details and what's in the box

Some fixes don't need a sewing kit. The Quick Stitch Clothing Fixer pushes a fine needle through the fabric and sets a small plastic fastener in one squeeze, so a loose hem or a gaping button-down is sorted before you leave the house.

Good for:

  • Hems that came down
  • Shirts that gap between buttons
  • Necklines that gape
  • Curtains, bed skirts, and couch covers that won't stay put
  • Basting quilt layers and attaching labels

In the box: 1 stitch tool, 5 spare needles, black and clear fasteners, a needle cap, and a wrist strap.

Free tracked shipping. Most orders arrive 8 to 15 days after you order.

Please note: the needle is sharp. Keep it away from children. Fasteners are small plastic pieces for quick, light-duty fixes, not a replacement for a sewn repair.

Questions? We have answers

Does it sew with thread?

No thread. It sets a tiny plastic fastener, about 1 cm long, like the tags on new clothes.

Which fabrics does it work on?

Best on light to medium woven fabric: cotton shirts, linen and curtains. Denim hems work if you go slowly (5 spare needles come in the box). Not for stretchy knits, silk or satin, or thick coats. The needle makes a tiny hole, so try a hidden spot first.

How strong is the hold?

It is made for light, temporary fixes: use 2 or 3 along a hem and snip them out anytime. It is not for waistbands or anything under strain, so for a permanent repair, sew it.

How do I load it?

Push a strip of fasteners into the slot on top until it sits flat, then point and squeeze once per fastener. If it jams, pull the strip out, check the needle is straight and locked in, and reload it flat.

How long does shipping take?

It ships from our partner warehouse in China within 5 business days, and most orders arrive 8 to 15 days after you order, free and tracked. We ship to US addresses except Indiana and military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses for now.

What if it arrives damaged, doesn't work, or gets lost?

Email a photo to support@mavenwick.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund or replace it, with nothing to send back. Lost in the mail? We'll send a new one or refund you (see our Refund policy).
